News & Events | STS PayOne among Global Leaders Sharing its Experience at the International e-Governance Symposium in Ukraine

Kiev, Ukraine. On June 3rd, Kyivstar, Ukraine’s largest telecom company, part of the global VimpelCom group, hosted an international e-governance symposium “V-U-E to The Future”. The event featured case studies from world leading experts in e-governance solutions. Ericsson, MasterCard, Microsoft, STS PayOne, Prodea, Giesecke&Dervient and others presented their success stories from around the globe.

STS PayOne, a leading regional provider of ePayment solutions and services in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), participated by sharing its experience and showcasing its leading-edge innovations in the field of payments and processing. With a successful track record in providing some of the largest and most complex payments processing solutions to the governmental sector in the MEA, STS PayOne was invited, an indicator of the global out-reach STS PayOne has achieved.

The 3 day event was designed to ultimately provide Kyivstar and Vimpelcom with the building blocks to help draw the course of the Ukrainian e-Government development program so that it becomes a model of e-governance.

Having chosen e-services/ financial services as one of the 2 program starting points, Kyivstar and Vimpelcom saw the benefits of learning more about one of the biggest success stories in the MEA, STS PayOne. Presenting at the event was Mr. Janti Abdallah, STS PayOne General Manager, who highlighted STS PayOne’s close involvement with various governments in the MEA, most notably the e-Government program in UAE. Briefing the attendees, which included government ministers and officials as well other developmental agencies executives, Mr. Janti Abdallah brought forwardSTS PayOne’s  latest innovative solutions in an attempt to enlighten the program owners with the latest payment solutions covering various available channels between citizens and the government.
