PayOne Hospitality

PayOne provides hotels and restaurants with comprehensive payment solutions, enabling hotels to send invoices and personalized payment request links to customers via email and/or SMS, as well as allowing hotel receptions and restaurants to collect payments at the reception or at the counter using existing acquirer bank’s payment devices, through its three modules: Pay-by-Link and Pay @ Reception for hotels, coupled with Pay @ Counter for restaurants. All three modules are enabled by PayOne’s direct integration with Oracle Property Management System OPERA and Oracle Micros Simphony.

Pay-by-Link Integration

Integration Overview

Through integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA property management system (PMS), SmartLink fetches relevant details of bookings associated with outstanding payments. SmartLink then sends corresponding personalized payment links through email, SMS, or WhatsApp to customers.

Upon clicking the payment link, the customer directly lands on a web page containing a summary of the booking and is presented with available payment methods and supported payment currencies. Upon providing payment method details, the transaction is processed in association with hotel’s preferred acquirer. The customer receives an immediate receipt and payment details are automatically reflected in Oracle Hospitality OPERA.

PayOne SmartLink is pre-integrated with various acquiring backends, processors, and payment gateways, minimizing the time and effort needed to launch the services for hotels.

Integration Details

PayOne SmartLink supports two-way OPERA Xchange Interface (OXI) integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA where the integration type is push/pull with OXI as a client. Data transmission between the PMS and PayOne SmartLink occurs through the internet utilizing a secure HTTPs channel with proper authentication. Integration parameters can be turned to accommodate the hotel’s exact requirements and special requests.

SmartLink integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS supports various payment scenarios, including:

  • -Making new reservations and amending existing ones
  • -Reservation cancellations, no-shows, reinstating reservations
  • -Reservation share or break

Pay @ Reception

Pay @ Reception integration from PayOne is a cloud-based solution that allows hotels using OPERA PMS (On-Prem, Hosted or Cloud) to integrate with acquirer’s existing payment devices through the Oracle Payment Interface (OPI). This integration enhances the guest experience, streamlines hotel’s reconciliation efforts and significantly reduces charge-backs by eliminating manual payment processing and preventing exposure to guest’s payment card details.

This solution uses the direct integration with OPERA Property Management System (PMS) to fetch relevant bookings’ details associated with outstanding payments where the outstanding amount is displayed on the POS machine for the guest to make the payment.

Integration Overview

Through the integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA property management system (PMS) using PayOne integration, PayOne receives payment instructions from Opera PMS and then pushes them to the designated payment device, which communicates with the acquirer host for authorization. Upon receiving the payment response from the payment device, PayOne tokenizes the card being used and posts the payment details back to OPERA PMS in real-time mode. PayOne Pay @ Reception can be easily integrated to various acquirers and processors, thus minimizing the time and effort needed to launch the services for hotels.

Integration Details

Oracle Payment Interface communicates with PayOne middleware over the merchant’s local area network through a secured HTTPS connection.

The PED (Pin Entry Device) mapping table is handled by PayOne ECR.
