Management Profile | Ramzi Zeine

Ramzi Zeine (b. 1962, Jordan) graduated from Manchester University in the UK in 1985 with a B.Sc. in Engineering and M.Sc. in Computer Science.

Started his career at NCS where he worked as a software support engineer and by 1987, Ramzi became head of the software support department and then shortly afterwards became the head of systems architecture for the company.

In 1989, Ramzi and two colleagues from NCS founded their own company and called it “Specialized Technical Services – STS”, focusing on services for enterprise servers. Ramzi was assigned the role of General Manager from 1989 till 1999, during which STS grew from a 3 to a 90-man organization with revenues of $10M.

In 1999, Ramzi left the management role at STS and founded a new subsidiary under STS named BusinessOne focusing on online solutions and e-Payment products. In 2000, Ramzi was awarded the E-entrepreneur of Year award for his achievements in building successful companies in the IT industry in the Middle East.

In 2002, Ramzi became the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the STS group of companies and also acts as the Chief Executive of the e-Payment and e-Business companies under STS.
